Mike Mallow

Mike Mallow is a Pendleton County native and is the publisher of Pendleton News and the owner of Pendleton New Media, LLC.

An accomplished designer, photographer and writer, Mallow was named Young Professional of the Year by the Pendleton County Chamber of Commerce in both 2010 and 2014. He has also been awarded 47 times by the West Virginia Press Association for design, writing and photography, and 98 times by the organization for excellence in advertising. Mallow is also part of the 2012 class of Generation Next 40 Under 40, a list of West Virginia’s best and brightest that is put out each year by the State Journal.

In addition to operation pendletonwv.com, Mallow is also the advertising manager at the Moorefield Examiner, and the creator and producer of Old 55 Magazine. He is director on the Warner’s Drive-In board (where he also serves as a projectionist) and a director on the Pendleton County Chamber of Commerce.

Mallow is currently writing a novel about Appalachian crime entitled In the Country Dark.

He lives in Franklin with wife Traci and daughter Hazel.
